  • DiCenzo and De Novo are both recruiting for a document review assignment in Wheeling, WV. I have always assumed these were for Orrick’s “global operations center,” but it turns out there are some other firms, like Thorp Reed, with offices in Wheeling. Wheeling is about an hour away from downtown Pittsburgh. De Novo doesn’t specify the pay, but DiCenzo says it’s $24 per hour.
  • Choice Counsel is recruiting for two positions: one in downtown Pittsburgh that requires an active license and one outside of downtown Pittsburgh that does not require a license.  No word on the hourly rate.
  • If you want to leverage your document review experience to manage a team of document review temps, Reed Smith has been advertising for a Staff Attorney.  This person would manage electronic discovery. He or she would also draft simple contracts and do legal research and writing.
  • If you are interested in e-discovery and are also sort of a computer hacker or a spy, you might be interested in an email I just got from the Posse List.  Apparently, someone is hiring an E-Discovery Analyst to help with “E-mail remediation projects.” I don’t even know what that means. It’s a 5+-month project; no word on the pay.
