- A U.S. House of Representatives panel moved to intervene in the domestic partner benefits case we talked about last week, where an Eastern District of Pennsylvania judge has asked the parties to brief the issue of whether discrimination against same sex partners violates substantive due process or the equal protection clause. The Congressional panel wants to defend the constitutionality of DOMA. [Post-Gazette]
