Judge Cleland just denied the prosecution’s request that Jerry Sandusky be “confined to the four walls of his house.” Specifically, neighbors had objected to his Sandusky standing on his porch in view of a local elementary school. Judge Cleland found that while the neighbors’ concerns were understandable, there had been no showing that Sandusky was posing a threat to the kids.
Judge Cleland also granted Sandusky’s requested for supervised visits with some of his grandchildren, visits from adults per the normal probation policy. The Judge also granted his request for a jury in Centre County.
