Lunch with Judge Caruso and Judge Horan: A discussion about practicing outside of Allegheny County – September 13th

The ACBA YLD Education Committee invites YLD members to a lunch and learn with the Honorable Marilyn Horan of Butler County and the Honorable Gary Caruso of Westmoreland County on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, at the ACBA Conference Center Auditorium at 920 City-County Building. Please join us to meet Judge Horan and Judge Caruso and learn about tips and pitfalls of practicing outside Allegheny County. Judge Caruso recently became the President Judge of the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas and he also serves in its civil division. Judge Horan serves as a judge in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas and has been credited with several court procedural improvements during her time on the bench.

ACBA Annual YLD Golf Outing – October 1st

For the sixth year in a row the ACBA Young Lawyers Division Golf Outing, sponsored in part by Proliance Solutions and USI Affinity, will be returning to Birdsfoot Golf Club and this year is sure to be the best ever!!!! The four person scramble format tournament will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Birdsfoot Golf Club and gives you more bang for your dollar than any other golf outing. For only $90 attendees get to play 18 holes (with cart) on a fabulous golf course, have a chance at winning numerous skill prizes, eat breakfast, lunch and a huge post-golf buffet, have access to an open bar, receive wonderful gift bags filled with goodies, get entered in a raffle with a near 100% chance of winning something and maybe a surprise or two. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for all members of the ACBA to network, practice firm development, entertain clients, and experience an amazing Pittsburgh golf destination.
